Snorkeling

 Moorea

 

Shallow water samples, at depths ranging from 0-2 m, were collected via snorkeling in the lagoon at five sites. These sites included a 100 m transect, with three sites along the transect, from the center of the channel to the reef crest, near Haapiti, Temae Beach and immediately off Fareohe Motu on the southern side of the Motu.

SCUBA Diving

  
Deeper water samples, at depths ranging from 10-25 m, were collected via SCUBA outside of the lagoon at three sites. These sites included were outside of the reef crest near Haapiti, all on the west side of the island.
